Flexible Work Hours
We understand individuals have unique needs and lifestyles. That’s why employees can work flexible hours in some departments, choosing the work schedule that is best for them. If you prefer to come in early and have free time in the afternoon, then working from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. may be right for you. Or perhaps you want to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. so you can come in a little later (core hours are 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.).

Nominated by their co-workers and acknowledged at our annual all-employee meeting, these employees are rewarded for representing the values of the Company.

Activities and Events
At Physicians Mutual®, we work hard, but we also take time to have fun. Departments frequently have employee appreciation events, such as picnics and baseball games, and the Company has an annual all-employee meeting where we all gather to celebrate the past year and to learn what’s happening in the future. We also have Bring Your Child to Work Day, a time when departments have fun activities to teach children about where their parents work. In addition, our health fairs help employees learn more about their health and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Community Involvement
Through fundraisers, bake sales, book fairs, food drives and Corporate-sponsored events and games, our employees show their support for local charities and organizations. Our employees also take an active role in the lives of seniors by joining them in Company-wide luncheons, holiday meals and other social engagements.
