what to expect

Preparation
You’ve been called for an interview. Now what? Here are a few tips:
  • Do your research — learn about Physicians Mutual® and the job for which you are applying

  • Dress appropriately — our Company follows a business casual dress code
Men: suits, sportcoats, collared shirts, sweaters, dress slacks, khakis, dress shoes and dress loafers
Women: suits, blazers, dress blouses, dress knit tops, sweaters, dresses, dress slacks, dress crop pants, khakis, dress shoes, dress loafers and dress sandals

  • Bring your resume — although not all jobs require a resume, you should be able to provide information about your education, training and previous employment

  • Have a list of references — get permission before using anyone as a reference and try to avoid using relatives
The Interview
You’ll enter at the west entrance of our Home Office and be greeted by our receptionist. You’ll be asked to sign in and be given a temporary ID badge to wear throughout your visit.

A representative from Human Resources will guide you through the interview process. Expect to talk about why you’re the right person to hire, why you want to be part of our family and what you enjoy in a job. Depending on the position for which you are applying, you may also be asked to take some skills assessments.

It’s just as important that you’re as happy with us as we are with you, so there will be plenty of time for your questions.
